Bahrain has several visitor eVisa service categories. The recordkeeping trap is treating the visa validity period as permission to stay continuously for that full period.
Short answer: track Bahrain visitor eVisa records in layers: visa option, issue or valid-from date, visa validity period, each entry date, per-entry stay shown by the official eVisa or border process, and each exit date. Bahrain Government Services pages include multiple visitor eVisa routes, including short-stay and multiple-entry options.

What Bahrain visitor eVisa options should you separate?
The Bahrain Government Services index lists several eVisa service categories, including two-week single-entry, three-month multiple-entry, one-year multiple-entry, GCC visitor, family visit, and extension services.
That does not mean every traveler qualifies for every route. It means you should save the exact option you used.
Use separate fields:
| Record | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Visa service | Which Bahrain eVisa route you applied under |
| Visa validity | The period in which the visa can be used |
| Entry date | When you actually enter Bahrain |
| Per-entry stay | The stay shown by the issued eVisa or official process |
| Exit date | When you actually leave Bahrain |
This keeps the service category from being confused with the stay allowed on a specific trip.
Why visa validity is not the same as stay duration
Bahrain official service pages include a three-month multiple-entry Visit eVisa and a one-year multiple-entry Visitor eVisa.
Those labels describe visa categories and validity periods. They should not be treated as proof that a traveler may remain in Bahrain continuously for the full three months or one year. The stay you should track is the per-entry stay shown on your issued eVisa or confirmed by the official Bahrain service for your route.
For each Bahrain entry, save:
- eVisa service used
- eVisa issue or valid-from date
- eVisa expiry date
- passport used
- actual entry date
- stay shown for that entry
- actual exit date
If the issued eVisa gives a condition that is more specific than a general page, keep the issued record and get qualified advice before relying on a private calculation.
Three-month multiple-entry eVisa records
Bahrain Government Services includes a three-month multiple-entry Visit eVisa service.
For day tracking, the phrase "three-month multiple-entry" should make you track two things, not one:
| Item | Record to keep |
|---|---|
| Visa validity | The period during which the visa may be used |
| Trip stay | The stay allowed for each entry |
If you enter Bahrain more than once during the visa validity period, create a separate trip record for each entry and exit. Do not merge multiple entries into one continuous stay unless official records for your case say that is correct.
One-year multiple-entry eVisa records
Bahrain Government Services includes a one-year multiple-entry Visitor eVisa service.
The same caution applies here. A one-year validity label should not be converted into one year of continuous stay in your personal tracker. Track each arrival and departure separately, and follow the per-entry stay shown on the issued eVisa or official Bahrain service.
A clean one-year visa record should include:
- visa service name
- issue date
- validity or expiry date
- passport used
- each Bahrain entry date
- each Bahrain exit date
- notes on the stay shown for each entry
That structure leaves a review trail if you later need to show how you counted your days.
What about two-week and other visitor routes?
The Bahrain Government Services index also lists short-stay and other visitor eVisa service families.
Do not assume the recordkeeping method changes because the stay is shorter. The same fields still matter:
- which service you used
- when the visa was issued
- when it could be used
- when you entered
- what stay was shown for that entry
- when you exited
Shorter stays can still create mistakes if a traveler mixes up a visa-validity date with an exit-by date.
Can Bahrain visitor eVisas be extended?
Bahrain Government Services includes an extension service for the three-month multiple-entry Visit eVisa.
That is an extension-service record, not a promise that every extension request will be approved. Keep extension planning separate from the original eVisa:
| Original eVisa file | Extension file |
|---|---|
| Service category | Extension service checked |
| Issue date | Application date |
| Entry and exit records | Receipt or decision |
| Original stay shown | Revised stay shown, if granted |
Do not erase the original dates. Add the extension record beside them.
Which documents should you keep?
Bahrain Government Services pages for the multiple-entry visitor eVisa routes list attachments such as passport copy, hotel reservation, return ticket, and financial records.
For your own file, keep documents under the trip they belong to:
- passport copy or passport details
- eVisa application and decision record
- hotel reservation or address record
- return or onward ticket
- entry and exit evidence
- official Bahrain source checked and check date
Avoid keeping one loose folder called "Bahrain." If you visit multiple times, each entry and exit should be traceable.
