What is Turkiye's Digital Nomad Identification Certificate?

GoTurkiye says the Digital Nomad Identification Certificate platform is the first step in the process of obtaining a Digital Nomad Visa to Turkiye.

That wording matters.

The certificate is part of the route, but it is not the same thing as holding a final visa in your passport. GoTurkiye says that if the uploaded documents are sufficient, the certificate is assigned to the applicant. The applicant can then apply for the Digital Nomad Visa at a visa center or consulate with the certificate and other required documents.

That creates a simple tracking split:
