About Jetseen: Why We Built a Better Residency Day Tracker
Jetseen is a residency day tracking app for people who live across borders. It tracks how many days you have spent in each country and shows days used, days remaining, and status at a glance. It supports 13 rule types, keeps travel records local-first, offers optional review-first GPS assistance, and does not operate Jetseen-hosted travel-history sync.
We’re Utilities Studio. A small team of friends, Harry (Hariom), Shan, and Shaun (Soaham), making apps that solve real problems. The kind of problems we bump into ourselves, or hear about from family and friends over dinner.
Shaun spent six years as a digital nomad. Split time between countries. Juggled tax thresholds, visa limits, and residency days on a spreadsheet. It worked until one broken formula quietly wrecked six months of numbers. He only found out in the accountant’s office.
He tried every tracking app he could find. One logged 18 days across eight months of travel. Another needed to be opened every month or it silently stopped working. None of them warned you upfront. When the stakes are real, that isn’t a quirk. It’s dangerous.
So the three of us teamed up. We wanted one app that got the numbers right and didn’t make you guess. That app became Jetseen.
Most of what we build starts the same way. A friend mentions a frustration. A parent flags a gap in some tool they’re stuck using. We listen, prototype, and only ship when it’s actually useful to someone we know.

Our families. Our friends. Ourselves. Most ideas start with someone we love mentioning a problem over dinner. If nobody in our group would actually use it, we don't ship it. That keeps us honest about what's useful and what's just clever.
Your travel records are local-first.
GPS assistance is optional and review-first. Raw coordinates are not part of your saved trip history, and encrypted personal-cloud backup is opt-in. We do not sell your location or use your data for advertising.
One clear price. No tiers.
One plan. Every feature included. No "pro" version quietly gating the thing you actually need. We're building for consumers, not procurement teams. You should know exactly what you're paying for before you confirm the one-time purchase.
Only tools we'd hand to a friend.
We don't ship for the sake of shipping. Every app has to pass a simple test. Would we text a friend and say, "try this, I think you'll like it"? If the answer is no, it doesn't leave the studio. Slow is fine. Sloppy isn't.
What Jetseen is not
Jetseen is a day counter with optional GPS-assisted entry, which is off by default. It is not a tax filing tool and does not give legal or immigration advice. It is built for people whose residency status depends on getting the number right.
If you want continuous automatic background location tracking, another product may fit better. If you need a tool that also files your taxes, Jetseen is not that tool.
