A five-year record cannot be rented safely.

The cost structure
Local software changes the pricing question.
Jetseen stores and calculates your core travel record on your device. Optional private backup uses your personal cloud account. Jetseen does not need to host a growing copy of every customer's trip history or run each day-count calculation on a paid server.
That matters. A product with a permanent cloud workload may need recurring revenue to pay for storage, computation, and delivery. A local-first rule engine does not carry that same marginal travel-data cost. Charging repeatedly for access to it would be a pricing choice, not a technical necessity.
Jetseen still pays for development, testing, distribution, support, and limited account infrastructure. The argument is not that software costs nothing to maintain. The argument is that your continuing access to a local record should not be held behind a monthly gate.

Stopping payment should not erase utility.
Subscription software can remove premium access when the entitlement ends. A long-lived compliance record is a poor place for that dependency.

Rule updates belong with ownership.
Day-count rules and product logic change. Jetseen ships rule engine updates to owners without converting Lifetime Access into a recurring bill.

The ownership test
If the record matters after the service relationship ends, you should keep access to it.
Travel-day records are not entertainment libraries. They can support a filing position, a certificate application, an immigration conversation, or the reconstruction of a difficult year. Their value increases as the history gets longer.
Ownership does not make the record legally conclusive. It makes it available. You can export it, review it with an adviser, restore your purchase, and keep using the rule engines without deciding each year whether the archive deserves another payment.
This is the category standard Jetseen wants to set: charge a clear price for the product, keep travel data local-first, include the rule updates, and let the customer own the result.
