The record can outlive the trip
An accountant or immigration lawyer may ask about a border crossing years later. Airline emails disappear, passports are replaced, and memory becomes unreliable. The record you made while the dates were fresh should remain available when the question finally arrives.
What ownership does and does not mean
You control the primary record
Trips are stored locally on the device. You can enter dates manually, correct them, and export the history for review. GPS-assisted entry is optional, off by default, and presents a suggestion for confirmation.
You still verify the legal conclusion
A day counter organizes facts. It cannot decide treaty residence, domicile, visa exemptions, or the full UK Statutory Residence Test for every person. Use the record with a qualified advisor when the consequence is material.
Permanent access is not a promise of permanent law
Border and tax rules change. Jetseen can update rule logic and explain what changed, but a saved count must always be read against the law that applies to the relevant period.
A fair comparison includes the weakness
