How do I add a trip that is still in progress?
Create the trip with its start date and mark it as ongoing. Update it with the departure date after you leave the country.

What to do
- Choose the country and actual arrival date.
- Turn on the ongoing-trip option instead of guessing an exit date.
- Add the real departure date as soon as the stay ends.
Why this matters
An ongoing trip lets the current stay appear in Timeline and relevant trackers before it ends. Check the entry date carefully because the live total grows from that boundary.
The trip record should describe what happened. The tracker then applies its configured calculation. Keep documents for disputed boundary dates and avoid changing accurate history only to produce a preferred result.
