Jetseen Help
How does iCloud private backup work?
On iOS, Jetseen can use its private iCloud provider path for an optional backup. It is personal backup, not Jetseen-hosted travel-history sync.

What to do
- Enable the optional iCloud backup from the app's backup controls.
- Create a fresh backup while connected.
- Check its success state before changing or erasing the device.
Why this matters
The backup is intended to preserve trips, rules, citizenships, visas, settings, and supported attachments. Check that iCloud is available and verify a fresh backup before relying on it for device recovery.
The trip record should describe what happened. The tracker then applies its configured calculation. Keep documents for disputed boundary dates and avoid changing accurate history only to produce a preferred result.
Check the rule behind the answer
Jurisdictions do not all define a presence day in the same way. Read How to Track Days Across Countries for the rule context and cited sources used by this answer. Official guidance and advice for your facts take priority over an app display.
Before you rely on the total
- Check the country, entry date, departure date, and local time where relevant.
- Resolve duplicate, missing, overlapping, or unreviewed GPS-assisted records.
- Confirm the tracker period, countries, threshold, and tracking direction.
- Export a fresh record after any correction that changes a previously shared total.
When to ask a professional
Ask a qualified tax or immigration professional when a count is close to a legal threshold, an exception may apply, records conflict, or a late correction could affect a filing, permit, or overstay. Jetseen organizes dates and calculations. It does not decide your legal status.
